Approved sketches
A set of sketches designed by our artist for the project.
The background was assembled from porcelain stoneware, and birds and trees from smalt produced by ArtWorker in pancakes 6-7 mm thick. The size of the smalt and porcelain stoneware module did not exceed 6 cm on the larger side.
To simplify the process of selecting the material for the background, we used porcelain stoneware and not smalt. Thus, all the bright areas of the panel were made of glass, and the background was made of ceramics.

How was the selection of the material and the assembly of the work?
Since the panels were supposed to be located on the facade of the building, the module was chosen to be large, from 5 cm on the smaller side.
The mosaic was typed with a double reverse set on an adhesive film, face up. This was done in order to correctly combine smalt and porcelain stoneware.
Most of the background was lined with beige granite, granite of several shades was used as a basis.
The smalt was cut into a module with a glass cutter and divided into modules using an anvil (hardy) for further work.
In total, 8 mosaic panels with birds, trees and flowers were made, which were subsequently mounted on the facade of a residential building in Kazakhstan.

Several types of roller pliers were used in the panel: Italian reinforced pliers, stained glass pliers, ordinary disc pliers.
The panel is in the process of installation. Quartz sand is carefully poured into the seams between the modules using a brush. After that, the mounting grid is placed on the back of the panel and the mounting compound is applied.
Finished panels
The mosaic was mounted on cement glue, after which the protective transport packaging of the cargo was carried out and the panels were handed over to the customer for further installation.
