For this artistic panel, smalt of different colors and shades was used.
The sketch was developed and drawn by an artist from Almaty.

Small details, such as a belt, patterns and similar elements were assembled separately by a reverse set and mounted separately into a ready-made panel.

The size of the panel was 2.7 x 2.7 m2, the panel was assembled entirely from smalt with a double reverse set.
It was important to perform pre-installation and prepare the panels for transportation and shipment to Almaty.

The assembly process

The process of panel mounting, panel preparation for transportation
The smalt was split and laid out in a large module on the prepared cardboard for the mosaic.
Special reinforced disk cutters, an anvil (hardy) and a hammer with pobeditov tips were used for chopping smalt.

Finished mosaic on the object

In the summer of 2023, we were lucky enough to visit the city of Almaty and see the mosaic live again, it has not changed at all and looks as good as at the time of installation.

We assemble mosaic panels in any technique from scratch, and also perform mosaic restoration

We assemble a mosaic of glass tiles, natural stone, smalt and ceramics inside and outside the room. We work with large objects and private orders. We restore mosaic objects of any complexity. We will calculate the cost and consult on all issues.
